The use of mosaics for the First World War and tiles for Second World War are unusual, but they are a colourful and effective decoration for this quite picturesque market town.

Did Ledbury have a traditional ceramic industry for them to use this decoration?

It's not a place I'd have connected with ceramics but an online search shows that there are small ceramics businesses in the area now so maybe in the past too. And it's not that far from places like Broseley and Jackfield, Shropshire, where tiles were produced.
